I am an unabashed Britney Spears fan. I’ve loved her since I was a wee high schooler and her video for “Baby One More Time” premiered on MTV (back when MTV actually played music videos). I was going through a teenage goth phase, so I couldn’t admit how much I loved that song, except for when it came on during school dances and I moved like I’d never moved before. It wasn’t until college and “Toxic” hit rotation that I finally confessed that yes, I am a Britney Spears fan.
So I’m pretty excited about her latest single, “Work Bitch,” and because I work at Dogster, the first thing I thought when I heard it (other than, “Oh my goodness, I need to dance“) was a dog being all like, “Bitch, I do work” because “bitch” is another word for a female dog — get it, GET IT?
