All right, Dogsters, paws up: How many of you have thrown a birthday party for your pup? Don’t be shy!
Not only is a doggie birthday party a great opportunity for your pooch to have a play date with her pals and get some important socialization, it’s also a great chance to gather human friends.
But with the unpredictability of dogs and humans, it’s more than smart to plan as much as possible so that everyone is happily entertained and kept safe.
Big Rich Texas’ Wendy and Nikki have some quick tips that will help your puppy party be the bark of the town instead of a doggone disaster.
One of their best tips is to maintain a size limit on the dogs in attendance — big dogs and small dogs don’t always mix well!
And though it may seem obvious, Wendy and Nkki suggest placing human treats on a separate table from dog treats, and labeling each clearly, so no one ends up accidentally taking a bite of dog food.
What other tips do our seasoned dog-party-throwers have? Let us know, and share some photos from your parties!
