You know how in cartoons you always see rich people diving into piles of money? (Think Scrooge McDuck.) If you were to ask a dog what would make him rich, he’d tell you, “Dog treats. Lots and lots of dog treats,”
Meet Oscar the Boston Terrier, who has just won the doggie equivalent of the lottery. His generous person buried him in a pile of dog treats as part of a photo shoot, but the smell and comfort of so much wealth is so intoxicating that Oscar nearly takes a snooze in his mountain of dog treats. It’s as if he’s saying, “Ah, dog treats forever; now I am content. And so I shall sleep.”
By the way, don’t show this to your pup at home. Otherwise she might begin asking you where her bed of Milk Bones is.
We’re pretty surprised that Oscar has the self-control to refrain from going crazy and immediately gobbling up every crumb — he must be one very patient dog! A lot of dogs we know would have vacuumed those snacks up in two seconds flat.
Carry on, Oscar — enjoy your wealth. Our lives are now that much richer after watching you in your luxurious bed of biscuits!
