A short time ago, in a galaxy not too far away, the artist united dogs and the classic film in everlasting harmony.

We know we’ve been talking a lot about Corgis lately. But let’s not forget those other Internet-famous breeds: the noble, smoosh-faced Boston Terrier and the equally flat-faced Pug.

Artist Brian Rubenacker embraces Internet fandom by combining geek favorite Star Wars with Boston Terriers and Pugs.

If there’s any breed of dog meant to portray Yoda, it’s definitely the Boston Terrier, with his big ears, big eyes, and adorable wrinkles. Who else can better teach you the ways of the Force? And what’s more intimidating than a Boston Terrier Darth Vader? (OK, lots of things are a lot more intimidating, but the cuteness will slay you with laughter.)

Or how about a Pug Jedi Knight? (So that’s how they get us to do whatever they want us to do just by looking at us! It’s an old Jedi mind trick — “You will give me that slice of pizza.”)

Don’t worry — it’s Han Pug to the rescue on his Tauntaun! Appropriately, this is a refrigerator magnet.

But watch out, Han Pug! We hear that Pug Jabba has put a pretty big bounty on your head.

Just do whatever it takes to save Princess Terrier!

You can purchase Brian’s “dorks of art” from his Etsy shop, where there are lots of other small dogs adorably reincarnated as Star Wars characters.
