Squeal-with-joy alert: So you know that Carly Rae Jepsen song “Call Me Maybe” we’re all crazy about? “Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy … La la la” (This is the part where we start dancing in the car with reckless abandon until we pull up to a stop light and realize the driver next to us is giving us weird looks — wait, that doesn’t happen to you? Allrighty, just pretend we didn’t admit that then.)

The hit Canadian song has spawned a series of parodies and homages, including a great adoption awareness effort from animal activist and fashion designer Anthony Rubio.

Keeping up with the momentum is this amazingly well-done and totally adorable Corgi version of the song done by an organization called The Pet Collective, whose YouTube page describes it as a group that’s “here to celebrate our furry friends and the enriching effect that pets have on our lives through informative and adorable content.”

The video matches the original almost frame for frame, including its surprise ending.

In fact we’re stunned at how faithful “Corgi, Maybe” is to the original “Call Me Maybe” video (which you can see below) — how on Earth did they get that dog to act so well? We know dogs can be divas on camera, but really, color us impressed!

To add another layer of giddiness to this summer single, you can now imagine Corgis dancing around to it. You can thank us later. And call us, maybe.
