Attention, everyone. Despite what the Internet may have told you, Cesar Millan is not dead.

This morning a website claimed that Millan had died of a sudden heart attack and that his family was in deep mourning. Although social media lit up immediately with condolences from grieving fans, the story never showed up on any major media outlets, such as The New York Times or even TMZ. And despite his alleged death, Millan kept on giving advice to his fans via Facebook and Twitter.

The claim that Millan had headed to the great dog park in the sky was humorously debunked on his own Facebook page by his dog, Junior:

Reports of my Pack Leader’s untimely demise are greatly exaggerated. I can happily report he is safe, happy and healthy. I can also tell you he kept me up all night snoring, my breakfast was a little late but I did get a great morning walk. As Cesar keeps telling me: Exercise. Discipline. Affection. – the key to a long, balanced, and healthy life!

So, congratulations to Millan on not being dead, and shame on the hoaxsters who used the fraudulent report to bring in hits. Whether you’re a fan or not, please use your social media networks to put out the word that this is nothing but a big steaming pile of poo.
