His trademark bushy, curly, bright red Irish Setter hair is the opposite of the short, sleek, black hair of his Black Lab, Brittany.” Carrot Top, whose real name is Scott Thompson says, Growing up we had an Irish Setter. We would have stare-offs, the dog wondering, Are you an Irish Setter?” (It was a joke, but a good joke). Romping in the backyard, Carrot Top plays a game with Brittany. Down on his hands and knees, Carrot Top holds a ball in his mouth and they stare at each other, Brittany doing the Lab thing and quivering in anticipation of catching the ball. Brittany may not be wondering if Carrot Top is an Irish Setter, but she cant wait for him to make his move, throw the ball and get the game started.
