Here at Dogster, we write about a huge variety of dog breeds. However, from the Affenpinscher to the Yorkshire Terrier (apparently there aren’t any breeds that start with Z), they all have one thing in common: Regardless of their size or shape, they’re all actually dogs.
That’s the one part that Pet, in the videos below, doesn’t quite have down. She’s a lamb, not a dog, but she’s certainly giving doghood her best try.
According to her owner, Jemma Mackenzie, Pet was orphaned when she was young. She also was suffering from problems with her hind legs, and so she was brought into the house to be taken care of. She bonded with the canine inhabitants of the house and was “adopted” by one of the older herding dogs, Dice. “She thinks the oldest dog Dice is her mother,” Mackenzie wrote on YouTube. “Sleeping in the same basket and following her everywhere from a very young age!”
Offhand, I can’t say for sure what species Pet thinks she is, or what she thinks her relationship with Dice and the other dogs is, but she definitely seems to get a lot of pleasure out of being a sheep who runs with the dogs.
