When we were young, one of the best parts of the ice skating was zoning out on the Zamboni circling the track, cleaning the ice. We were like Doge dog. So circling. So ice cleaning. The driver, spinning the wheel and peering over the side to keep his line true, had one of the best jobs in the world, or in the mall, or in the mall in the general proximity of the ice rink.
We feel the same way about watching this dog. We just wish it went on longer — long enough to eat a bunch of candy before getting back out on the ice. Just look at this dog shoveling this backyard ice skating rink:
The dog’s name is Elsa, which is just amazing, too, if you pay attention to things like Frozen.
Greg Cox, Elsa’s owner, has been shepherding Elsa’s fame via Twitter, as Elsa’s shoveling has been picked up by stately outlets such as Good Morning America, and he’s doing a very fine job of it. For example, he sent out a tweet that the shovel is from Canadian Tire, an all-purpose Canadian store:

Greg is certainly having a good time with this! He even posted an extended version, which shows that Elsa is clearly not simply confusing the shovel with a toy — Elsa wants this rink cleared, and she’s the dog to do it:
So, the next time you have to shovel a “path to poop” for your dog in the snow, just remember that Elsa would not only do it for free, she’d have a hell of a time doing it, so quit yer bitching.
