Dogster readers, get your tissues ready!
Is there anything more precious than a group of puppies exploring the outside world for the first time? That’s one small step for a puppy, one giant “Awww” for mankind.
With eyes and ears newly opened, this litter of Australian Shepherds is introduced to the great outdoors with their Mama, Rosie, nearby. The puppies crawl around on their unsteady legs, experiencing new sensations and new adventures. When the puppies curl up for a nap, Mama Rosie leaves to take a breather. Jojo, Rosie’s devoted shadow, tries to follow her, but can’t keep up on her little puppy legs.
Lost, Jojo begins crying, and that’s when big brother Finn comes to the rescue. He finds his baby sister and leads her back to the comfort of the litter. Awww, what a good older brother. All’s well that ends well for these pups.
It just reminds us that dogs are naturally compassionate creatures — come to think of it, we don’t think our big brothers would have helped us when we were lost and crying! They would have just made fun of us.
Fortunately for Jojo, Finn is there to help. We guess it doesn’t hurt that Aussies are herding dogs — it’s in Finn’s blood to make sure that the pack stays intact.
