I share more than a few quirks with my dogs, Dolly and Spot. For example, I don’t like to drink out of water fountains. The potential for water to shoot up my nose keeps me away, and so do the ever-present germs. Dolly shares my dislike — of the shooting water, anyway, as her desire to lick all manner of disgusting things proves she cares little about germs.
This week’s Friday Freebie, H2FidO from Modgy, comes to her rescue. The portable water system makes keeping Dolly and Spot hydrated when we’re out and about so much easier. Check it out.
The system comes with a collapsable bottle with sports cap, clip, and two collapsable, resealable bowls, available in eight cool designs. We tried it out on our recent road trip from Phoenix to Houston, and it came in quite handy. I especially like that the bowl reseals, allowing me to save perfectly good water instead of throwing it out once Dolly and Spot have quenched their thirst for the moment. I also appreciate that the bottle and bowl contain BPA-free recycled plastic, among other eco-friendly features.
H2FidO’s next-to-nothing weight and clip for attaching it to a key ring or leash makes it easy to take anywhere. I plan to use the system at the dog park this weekend. Spot has no problem drinking out of the doggie water fountain there, but I know how Dolly feels about it.
