Rebecca Fischer survived cancer following the birth of her daughter. She now creates art that celebrates life. She was just 29 during her illness. Her affordable, accessible pieces are bright and playful, evoking sunny days playing in the park with your favorite dog. Though her work contains myriad subjects, dogs make a prominent appearance, which is why we were drawn to her website.
Beccavision, as she calls her work, began as a hobby and is now part of her career. She is a freelance artist born in New York and now living in Denver. Many of her pieces are available in stores in her home state of Colorado. You can also request custom work.
Beccavision is unconventional, and that’s why we like it. A collage of techniques, shapes, and colors, Fischer’s aesthetic vibrates with life and energy, and an appreciation for the wild and unexpected, which makes sense if you consider what dealing with cancer must be like. We imagine that you come out on the other side with a whole new sense of gratitude and thirst for life, and we see that in Fischer’s art.
