Do you remember the story of Bethany and the moving photo captured by the Bill Foundation’s Annie Hart of the poor dog reaching out to Hope for Paws’ Eldad Hagar? The image touched thousands of people across the Internet, propelling Bethany to stardom. Her story received coverage from the Huffington Post, Dog Heirs, and of course Dogster.

Bethany’s story is one of many. The Bill Foundation and Hope for Paws have worked together through the past year to dramatically alter the lives of dogs who would have otherwise died anonymously in the streets. Risking their own lives, Hart and Hagar owe a lot of their success to the power of the videos they have created, documenting the sometimes perilous situations they face to help save dogs who are abandoned, sick, and defensive. (As you may or may not know, Hart is still recovering from a bite injury from a recent rescue attempt.)
To celebrate a year of rescues, Hart and Hagar spliced together a compilation of some remarkable moments from their efforts, including lifting a dog named Biggie from a concrete riverbed in Los Angeles.
