Repeat after me: Corgis are amazing.

And here’s a good one: Never give up.

This is an incredible story about a Welsh Corgi named Ole who was buried by an avalanche in Montana while with his cross-country skiing owners. Somehow he managed to burrow out from under the snow where one of his owners perished, and made his way back to the motel where his owners had been staying. It took him four days, and no one can figure out how he did it. I saw the story a little too late to post it last week, so I bring it to you this morning in video form.

Wonderful Dogster reader Diane Almy reminded me about the story this weekend when she wrote me about how her Corgis had pulled out of their collars when an English Bulldog attacked them. They ran away in different directions and she searched for them. Where did she find them? Waiting for her at home.
