Some of you Dogster readers have said you consider yourself your dog’s parent. Is this what you were thinking? Taking your dog to the park and pushing him on a swing? And letting him wear your sunglasses?
This is Winston. Apparently Winston likes being pushed in a swing, because here he is doing it — twice! Winston lives with his human in Canada. They like to go to the park. One day, Winston seemed to indicate that he wanted to be pushed in the swing. So his human happily obliged. From the looks of it, Winston is pretty happy to be in the swing. We wonder if he’s pretending that he’s flying in a spaceship the way we used to when we were kids.
In this video, Winston takes it another step further, asking his mama for her sunglasses for an extra touch of cool. Winston looks pretty good in them! Watching him chill in the swing makes us long for being a kid again, when we couldn’t wait for recess so we could race out of the classroom and hop on the swing. It was always the most popular structure on the playground.
That’s one of the many reasons why we love dogs — they remind us how to be kids, how to go for a walk and have some fun every now and then.
