Okay, grab a tissue — you’re going to need it.
Little Micah was dropped off at a shelter with severe pneumonia. The disease had advanced so far that he struggled with every breath. If he didn’t receive treatment soon, he would end up another statistic.
That’s when the Bill Foundation stepped in with its village of helpers. With the financial assistance of Lifeline 4 Paws, which provided some of the money for Micah’s medical bills, the little dog was able to receive care at the Animal Specialty and Emergency Center in Los Angeles.
After spending a few days in an incubator, the little dog made a full recovery, and in just about a week, Micah was full of life and energy, bright-eyed and wagging his tail with happiness.
You can watch his recovery in the video below, but make sure you’re alone or with loved ones. If you can get through the entire four minutes without crying, then we think you’re probably a robot.
Our favorite part is seeing the enthusiasm in Micah’s eyes — even as he’s confined to his incubator. You can tell that he’s a very special dog.
The dog who goes home from the vet is much livelier than the one who arrived, and it’s because of the efforts of the Bill Foundation. Now the little guy is awaiting his forever home. Find out how you can help Micah and dogs like him by clicking here.
