It’s French Bulldog versus Siamese kitty in this battle of cuteness!
A Frenchie named Ginger initiates a friendly scuffle with a kitty named Saffron by giving Saffron’s tail a friendly nip. Not one to back down from a fight, Saffron responds with a swat to the face, which only seems to encourage Ginger. Fortunately, the two are probably pretty evenly matched weight-wise, and so the battle begins! With their black and white fur, dog and cat almost look identical.
Saffron goes for the classic “lounging cat” strategy, which involves lying on her back and batting at her opponent as she spins around on the kitchen floor. It’s a bold move that says, “I am too cool to bother with you,” and its smugness is intended to psychologically break down attackers. Ginger counterattacks with the circle lunge puppy paw, which is, at its heart, too oblivious to notice the cat’s attitude. It says, “Hey! I’m a puppy! Come play with me!”
Dog and cat engage in a pretty harmless scuffle, which looks more like play than actual fighting, and is more adorable than scary.
Unfortunately, we never find out who wins or loses … but in our books, everyone is a winner. The cuteness is just too much!
