Sometimes it doesn’t matter how cute you are — you can’t always get what you want. Apparently Porter the English Bulldog hates wearing his harness, even when it’s for his own good. Like another fussy Bulldog we know, Porter is so displeased that he turns into a gremlin, making noises we didn’t know were even possible for a Bulldog.

The problem is that when you’re as cute as three-month-old Porter here is, it’s really really hard to get people to listen to you! That’s probably why Porter resorts to making strange noises. He’s like, “Take this darn thing off of me! I’m mad about it — no really, stop laughing, I hate it. Guys … really … please?”

Poor Porter. His cuteness is a curse, so he tries being un-cute to get the attention of his humans. His plan totally backfires, and instead of feeling intimidated, Porter’s human parents simply giggle, because Porter just ends up sounding like an adorable, smoosh-faced muppet. When Porter gets older and his voice goes through “the change,” maybe he’ll be taken more seriously.

Until then Porter will just have to continue to protest his harness in vain as those around him laugh.
