Bronte’s leg was crushed, but her spirit was not. It all happened so fast. She didn’t even know what happened. Bronte had been roaming the streets as a stray. Nobody knows where she came from, but none of it mattered. She was hit by a car. The car crushed her back leg and there was nothing doctors could do. She lost the leg. Bronte was now left in the shelter with only three legs.
New Leash on Life rescued Bronte from the shelter. They kept her safe and rehabilitated her with care and love. Bronte learned to walk on three legs.
Then New Leash on Life even found Bronte a home. Unfortunately, it did not work out for Bronte. After a few years in Bronte’s new home, a divorce happened. Bronte was returned to New Leash by her adopters because it was too much for the family to handle. Bronte was looking for her forever home again.
Luckily Bronte was adopted again. Not every person could imagine having a three-legged dog in their family, but there was a special person out there who decided to give Bronte a third chance at a happy home. So far, it looks like it’s going to last.
