My, my, my, what big teeth you have, Miss Sugar Tree the Doberman! But you are ever so gentle, even when a feisty feline won’t leave you alone. Sure, you’re flashing your chompers, but it’s easy to see that your intent is only to play, not to harm.

If Dobermans are really the vicious killing machines breed-specific laws make them out to be, we doubt Sugar Tree would tolerate kitty’s behavior. She’s obviously a well-trained dog with an incredible amount of patience, disproving every negative myth about the breed.

Sugar Tree’s gentle, patient disposition is the result of being brought up at Camels and Friends. Living alongside camels, sheep, and other dogs, Sugar Tree only looks fierce, but knows how to live in peace with other creatures.

But we’ve also got a feeling that Camels and Friends knows when to break up play that gets too rough and tumble. It’s important to supervise all animal play — sometimes they don’t know their own strength, especially if they are playing with a different species! Animals can’t talk and say, “Hey, that was too much,” but they communicate through body language, so learn your dog’s body vocabulary! And if anything becomes questionable, it’s totally okay to intervene before things get out of paw.
