Hey, so remember how we were talking about preparing for the upcoming season with a summer safety kit for your dog? We think there might have been one thing we forgot. A water gun!
Besides providing some fun in the sun, a brightly colored water gun is also a great way to water and cool down your dog.
At least for this Bulldog, who can’t seem to get enough of this game of water tag. It’s a fun way for this little guy to play and get dehydrated. Keeping dogs hydrated is a very serious concern for summer; like us, they need lots of water throughout the day, but, unlike us, they can’t always tell us when they are thirsty, so we’ve got to be vigilant.
We’re not saying this is the only way you should keep your pet watered and happy, but if your dog is into it the way this Bulldog is, then sure — why not add a water pistol to your summer safety kit? Think back to when you were a kid and summers meant no school and playing with your friends until the streetlights came on.
