With gas prices dropping as precipitously as temperatures across the country, leave it to one of Dogster’s all-time favorites, Keith Hopkin, to harness the power of both developments into the latest installment of his viral video classic, “Dogs in Cars.”
On Tuesday morning, Hopkin unveiled “Dogs in Cars: Miami,” an homage to the simple joys of warm, sunny skies, open roads, and the spirit of adventure. With help from the folks at Bark4Green.com, who helped locate the dogs who star in the video, Hopkins shows pups enjoying the sights and sounds of Miami through an open car window.
There are wide smiles and wide eyes, and an occasional warm breeze that gets the fur flying and sends our yearning for summer into overdrive.
Hopkin first drove onto the scene in 2011, with his first installment of “Dogs in Cars.” In 2012 came the follow-up, “Dogs in Cars: California,” as well as a more-serious take on a dog’s life in 2013, with “Savour Every Moment.” That same year, Hopkin gave us the whimsical “Puppy Pile,” and now, once again, it’s time to rev up the cute engine.
