Spot and Dolly, the official treat testers for Friday Freebies, don’t read press releases. That’s my job, along with writing the feature and picking the winners. I did, however, share with them this bit of information about the prize we’re giving away this week, Fruitables Vanilla Snowflake dog treats: Each bag contains 300 snowflakes!

I had to actually show them a video of the Fruitable folks harvesting snowflakes from the mountains of Crested Butte, Colorado, for them to believe me. Once they did, it was time for them to taste.
Dolly’s commented, “Good crunch, hints of pumpkin, vanilla yogurt, granola … I’m not getting any snow, though.”
Spot added, “Me, either. I had better keep eating them until I do.”
They have yet to taste the snowflakes, but to say Spot and Dolly like these treats would be an understatement. We quickly went through the initial bag Fruitables sent us, and I have since purchased three more and plan to stock up soon, as they are a limited-edition holiday treat.
