Dressing up for Halloween is a long-standing tradition. Although we would never want our dogs to be anything other than the furry friend we love, it’s a great day to have them join in on the fun. We’ve created a list of Dog Halloween costume varieties to help you choose the perfect one!
1. Traditional
You can never go wrong with Halloween standards, like pumpkins, pirates, fairies, and clowns.
2. Scary
Spooky and creepy costumes are a natural choice for the day the supposed veil between the spirit and real world becomes thin. Choose: vampires, wolves, witches, devils, prisoners, and ghosts.
3. Funny
Put the joke on your dog with funny and punny outfits. Here are some classics: hot dog, three-headed dog, taco, cowboy riding on horse-dog, banana, fruit girl, and corn on the cob.
4. Creatures
Nothing is funnier than a dog masquerading as another animal, bug, reptile, or creature from the sea. Try ladybug, bumble bee, alligator, lion, or shark.
5. Easy
Want something quick and easy that your dog can take off in a flash? Sunglasses, collars, bandanas, and headpieces, like this mullet wig, are a perfect fit.
6. Super Heroes
Give your super furry pal an extra bit of POW, with a fictional or real super hero costume: super dog, batdog, spiderdog, fireman, policeman, or military.
7. Movie/TV
Love to binge watch movies and TV shows with your faithful companion? He’ll share the love of your favorite character with these entertaining costumes: Yoda (or anything from Star Wars), Mad Max, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Cookie Monster and a whole bunch more cast of characters.

Signs of discomfort can include: lip licking, cheek pu ng, paw lifted, tail tucked, whale eyes (where the eyes look huge and you can see the whites in the eyes), and more.
