Tuesday, January 16: Canine Influenza Virus Presentation

Want to learn more about dog flu? Robert Duquette BVSc, MRCVS, PhD, Senior Professional Services Veterinarian at Merck Animal Health will give a comprehensive presentation about CIV — its signs, transmission, diagnosis, sanitation and treatment — plus how it affects social dogs. Thursday, January 25: 4th Annual Joriad North American Truffle Dog Championship

The Joriad™ begins in the morning at the Lane County Fairgrounds Livestock Arena with a series of qualifying events where spectators can cheer on the teams as they race to search for hidden truffle-scented targets. This event is just the start of a full weekend of fun truffle events, such as cooking classes, a Grand Truffle Dinner, a two-day Truffle Growers’ Forum and the Eugene Fresh Truffle Marketplace. The Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) saves dogs and cats whose time at public shelters have run out.
