If I had my way, Spot and Dolly would tag along on every trip I take. My income doesn’t allow for a private jet or dog nanny, though, so instead they stay with our close friends the Alexander-Beams. At their house, my pups have fellow Boston Terriers Grover and Pippin to play with as well as human kids Ethan and Evelyn, who make the perfect fetch partners.
I am beyond grateful for a variety of reasons to these dear friends for welcoming my pups into their home, but the most important one is that 13-year-old Dolly has cancer, and I just can’t imagine leaving her at a kennel or with someone she doesn’t know.
All that being said, if I were ever in need of accommodations for Spot and Dolly, it sure would be nice to check them into a place like Luxe Pet Hotels in Las Vegas. Check out the #LuxeVegas With Robin Leach segment on the kennel.
Let’s recap: The dogs sleep on silk sheets, have meals delivered to their suites, get spa treatments and massages, and can hang out indoors or outside, with access to agility equipment and pools complete with cabanas because it’s Las Vegas.
I bet Spot and Dolly wouldn’t mind staying there — and neither would I! Of course, if I can’t afford a private jet or dog nanny, odds are the cost of Luxe Pet Hotels — which you must call to get — is also out of my price range. Sorry, pups!
