Dogster’s good pals over at Hunch.com have come up with a fun and informative infographic on dog people vs cat people. The stats are based on more than 80 million aggregated responses to “Teach Hunch About You” questions answered by about 700,000 people in the last two years. Those are pretty strong numbers! And the findings provide some interesting (and often surprising) insights into dog lovers and cat lovers.
Did you know, for instance, that dog people are 50% more likely to be conservative than cat people? Or that dog people are 18% more likely to name Paul McCartney as their favorite Beatle, while cat people are 25% more likely to name George Harrison? Or that dog people are 23% more likely to be iPhone users, while cat people tend to use more Androids? (I find this odd, because aren’t most Android users guys?) (Semi off topic, but if you want to see a funny comic panel about the difference between iPhone users, Android users, and Blackberry users, check out this page. It has nothing to do with dogs, but is worth a look if you want some entertaining insights.)
Click here or on the infographic snippet above to get the complete infographic. We’re showing just a piece of the infographic here. Have fun! Share it with friends! (BTW dog people will be more likely to do this, as we are 15% more likely to be extroverted than cat people, who are 11% more likely to be introverted than dog peopl. 😉 ) After you’ve checked it out, let us know what you think, Dogsters! Are you a Paul fan? Are you conservative? Do you like Everybody Loves Raymond more than the average cat person?
