Norman the Scooter Dog is a pup on a mission — a mission to ride a bicycle. And in sweeping the world with his bike-riding skills, Norman is also on a mission to raise awareness against buying puppy-mill puppies from pet stores. Don’t do it! Just think of Norman! What would Norman do?

Norman is a 3-year-old, 70-pound Briard who loves to learn new tricks. While he is most famous for riding his scooter, last week the adorable dog debuted his new bike-riding skills. Now all he needs is a bike guard dog. Norman also surfs, herds, shuts the front door, and wipes his paws. He is one talented dog!

But what Norman cares most about is the cessation of puppy mill breeding. He takes his message of rescue and adoption everywhere he goes. For those who must have a purebred, Norman encourages them to take the time to pursue dogs from reputable breeders. The only way to stop irresponsible puppy breeding is to stop giving them the funds to continue to operate.

Norman also wants people to know that any dog is trainable with enough time and commitment, and while you may not want to teach your dog how to ride a bicycle, basic obedience helps any good dog become a great dog.

We love you, Norman!
