A few years ago, we did a giveaway with Joy Pet Products, a lovely small business that produces high-quality (and U.S.-made) outerwear for dogs. My dog, Moxie, was lucky enough to model and keep the Perfect Fit Hoodie sent as a review sample. It has become one of our best-loved pieces in his (embarrassingly) rather extensive wardrobe.
The words “Perfect Fit Hoodie,” are a lot to live up to, but this piece delivers with its soft-yet-sturdy Polartec fleece body and stretch trim. Moxie wears a medium and has grown quite a bit in the two years we’ve had the hoodie, and it still fits very well.
The hoodies usually sell retail for $50, but Joy Pet Products has them marked down to $20 each in all sizes (from XS to XL) to make room for new inventory in the new year. It’s a great opportunity to get one. Moxie just got a red version in the mail, and I can’t wait to put it to work on one of his next walks.
The hoodies come in a good selection of colors with options for embroidery on the back, including the words “Joy” in several patterns, the Angel pictured at the top right, and the Chinese characters for “good health,” (pictured at top left) which we all wish for our pups in the new year.
