In celebration of the year-end festive season, Dogster is casting a canine-focused eye back on the most notably lovable dogs that helped light up 2013. Each day we’ll be profiling one honorable hound. We’re tagging it “the 12 Dogs of Christmas.”
After LOLing at Otis on Friday, today’s mutt is a dignified chap …
7. Norman
He’s a blind wonder who is billed as sharing an uncanny likeness to either the foodstuff meatloaf or the aging rocker (we’re still not quite sure). Yep, our No. 7 pick is Norman, who we brought to your attention recently in October after his story came to light.
It turns out Norman is a rescue dog who some cold-hearted human decided to dump in an animal control dropbox. Why? Apparently because “he’s blind and a senior at seven-years-old and no one would adopt him.” The good people at Muttville stepped in though and Norman has now been placed in a happy and very social-media-friendly home.
Currently, Norman seems to be enjoying this winter season by sporting a wide array of woolen sweaters (and, on occasion, dragging around a blanket for his own warming pleasure). He’s also settling into his elder age by starting to spot some dignified grey eyebrows!
Need even more Norm? Check out his Tumblr, Hey Norman, which is packed with literally a gazillion pics of him. Often posing with girls.
