Tokyo is a 3-year-old Shiba Inu who lives a fast and fashionable urban life. She resides with her human in a high-rise condo in San Diego, but she travels often, reviewing swanky hotels and rating them based on their pet-amenity offerings.
On her most recent trip, Tokyo accompanied her human on a jaunt down the California coast. The adorable jet-setting dog first flew United — in cabin, not in cargo like model Maggie Rizer’s ill-fated Retriever — to visit friends and family in the Bay Area.
She made sure to snap some foggy pictures at the Golden Gate Bridge. She also met up with her special Shiba Inu friend Zuko. How cute!
She stayed at Cavallo Point, “the Lodge at the Golden Gate,” which is very dog friendly. There, Tokyo relaxed with her human amid lush, beautiful surroundings.
Moving south along the coast, Tokyo checked into the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles, where the dog amenities included her own bed, bowls, and homemade treats. What a swanky Shiba.
Next, Tokyo spent a day at the beach in Santa Monica. Dogs aren’t allowed on the sand, but Tokyo had plenty of fun exploring more dog-friendly places. She made sure to look extra sharp in her bright pink harness lest the infamous Los Angeles pupparazzi make an appearance.
You can see more of Tokyo’s urban adventures at her blog and Tumblr, and follow her on Twitter — not only is Tokyo fancy, she’s very tech-savvy.
