Dogs and Star Wars, Star Wars and dogs — it never gets old. Especially for Etsy artist Nicholas, who’s known on the craft site as DogHistory. His shop is called Wilson Inc., where he sells dog-themed posters. Some are cool and colorful, while others are downright silly, such as his Star Wars-themed dog posters, which feature characters from the iconic movie outfitted with … dog heads.
The artist shares his life with a Dachshund named Link, so it’s no wonder that in the heroic role of Luke Skywalker, Nicholas places a Dachshund in his place. Welcome to the bark side, folks — there’s no turning back now.
The Wilson Inc. prints are created with archival pigment inks, which means they will last a lifetime. Printed on heavyweight matte paper, the pieces are 8-by-12 inches and are shipped ready to frame and mount. Priced at $10 each (not including $5 shipping) the prints are an affordable way to geek up your home and express your love of dogs.
If Star Wars dogs are just a bit too geeky for your taste, Wilson Inc.’s neon-colored dog prints recall the simple printmaking techniques of Andy Warhol.
If you’re looking for something a little more understated, check out the more elegant map prints, which include dogs and maps in neutral sepia tones.
