Faith didn’t have an easy start to life. She had an abusive owner who finally kicked her so badly she lost use of one of her legs. She ended up at Hillsborough County (Fla.) Animal Services, where vets had no choice but to amputate.

But did the one-year-old spitfire let any of this get her down? It sure doesn’t appear that way. You’ve got to love this dog. Watch the video and look at her energy and spirit both before and after vets amputated her unusable leg. There’s a lesson here for anyone life has kicked down. Just watch her, and have faith, and let yourself be inspired.

As for the former owner, I can’t find any news about him, but I assume he will be prosecuted, since they know who did this to her.
