If you love dogs and you’re anywhere near the vicinity of Brooklyn, New York,on Sunday, May 22nd, definitely swing by “Brooklyn Howls” -the night of rock and burlesque isthis weekend’s hot ticket to support dog rescue.
The venue is the Glasslands Gallery in Greenpoint,your host is The World Famous Bob, and the lineup includes excellent bands (Clouder, Gold Smoke, Pump, and Drew and the Medicinal Pen),plus a Who’s Who of celebrity burlesque: Bambi the Mermaid, Bunny Love, Della Dare & Sequinette.
And, to helpeveryone overcomeMonday morning dread, there’ll bedrinks galore.
Doors open at 6 p.m.
All proceeds from ticket sales willsupport Dog Habitat Rescue, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit that’s metropolitan New York City’s most refined and focused canine rescue facility. The rescue is the non-profit arm of Unleash Brooklyn, New York City’sbest boarding destination, where rescue dogs get the sameTLC and VIP treatment as the paying K9 customers.
