Apparently a lot of fans of Twilight own dogs. The number one doggy name in 2010, according to a database of nearly 500,000 pets insured by Veterinary Pet Insurance Co.: Bella. It was the second-most popular name for cats.

Among some of the odder names for dogs: Pickles Von Corndog, Lord Chubby Pruneface, Molly McBoozehound, Dog Vader, Flopsy Squeakerton, Geez Louise, Baba Ganoush, and Bettie Poops.

Unlike the wacky names, the top popular names all share one thing in common: They’re names for humans, too.

Here’s the top 10 list of dog names, according to the most recent VPI stats:

2. Bailey
3. Max
4. Lucy
5. Molly
6. Buddy
7. Maggie
8. Daisy
9. Charlie
10. Sophie
