If someone told you mixing a Bichon Frise with a Border Collie and a Chinese Crested Powder Puff would result in an extremely adorable, wildly talented pup, you might have been a tiny bit skeptical. But Pudsey, the six-year-old dog who is making waves on Britain’s Got Talent is exactly the product of such bizarre coupling.
Pudsey was given to Ashleigh Butler on her 11th birthday, and the two have been inseparable ever since. Ashleigh’s grandmother informs us that her granddaughter is so devoted to her dog that she’s not yet interested in boys at 17!
Ashleigh wants to become a professional dog trainer when she’s done with school, and if her audition with Pudsey is any indication, it’s the career she was meant for. Have a look:
Simon Cowell, a known dog lover, had one bit of criticism for the two after they finished dancing to The Flintstones’ opening theme: “I’d have put Pudsey in a prehistoric outfit as well,” he said. We’re with him on this one.
