Multiple geese are called a gaggle, multiple sheep are called a herd, multiple wolves are called a pack, and multiple crows are called a murder … so what do you call multiple Bulldogs playing tetherball?
We’re not sure — maybe you can think of something — but for now we’ll call them cute!
They definitely have tetherball technique, though it’s not clear whether they know the rules of the game. For starters, tetherball doesn’t usually involve multiple players on the court, but since when were dogs good at following rules? Or being able to read the rules of a game, for that matter?
It’s a pretty close match between the Spotties and the Brindles, passing the ball back and forth without much headway. It’s neck and short, stubby neck for a while, until Jack lands a solid hit that sends the ball flying — but the other dogs strike the ball as well, starting a volley back and forth.
Even in instant replay, we can’t really tell who wins — and we have a feeling that the Bulldogs don’t really care. When it comes to cuteness, everyone’s a winner! The only real loser is their human, who now has a wet, slobbery tetherball on his hands.
