Is it an umbrella stand? A pool toy holder? A chair? The iDog by designer Elda Bellone has us stumped, but it’s basically whatever you want it to be. There aren’t too many things you can say that about.
According to Bellone’s website, the iDog “wants to explore the boundary between objects of sculpture and design.” It aims to “realize a new form-function idea, not to be expressed but to be interpretated.” Geez. All that and a bag of chips. The iDog may just be a little too deep for us.
We’re simple kids here at Dogster HQ, and we like the iDog because it looks good with colorful pool toys shoved into it.
