Pet parents deal with the loss of a beloved dog in a variety of ways. Some place their ashes in a decorative urn and keep them close by. Others scatter the ashes or bury the animal in a special spot. The Collar Project has introduced another option: the Furever Tree Eco-Urn.
This eco-friendly, biodegradable urn includes three tree seeds and a peat puck, allowing you to plant a tree that not only honors your dog but also combines their ashes with the soil, giving the tree a special significance.
There are six species to choose from: paper birch, Ponderosa pine, grey adler, Indian bean, blue spruce, and lilac. If you don’t have a green thumb, not to worry, as the urn also comes with easy-to-follow planting instructions.
It retails for about $60 with shipping, but the Collar Project has generously offered to give one Dogster reader a Furever Tree Eco-Urn. Follow the directions below. Note: This contest is open to both U.S. and Canadian residents.
