After winning the World’s Ugliest Dog contest, Quasi Modo wasn’t content. She wanted to win late-night TV as well. And last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, she did it. The host gave the Pit Bull–Dutch Shepherd mix with a spinal defect a makeover, and Quasi Modo performed like a champ. The rescue dog, who was abandoned as a puppy, handled all of celebrity stylist Carson Kressley’s wardrobe changes like a seasoned pro, and she ended up wearing a fine ensemble that Kimmel described as “a cross between Honey Boo Boo and a hooker.”
That may have been a compliment. It’s 2015; we don’t understand fashion anymore. In any case, here is the final look:
Those muffs accentuate Quasi Modo’s long legs, sez Carson. We think he’s right? In any case, he called the wig a “fun” touch — not something she’s expected to wear to the dog park every day. Also, she’s wearing a onesie. A celebrity stylist puts a dog in a onesie. All in all, Quasi Modo didn’t look too put off by the whole thing, but it could have been worse.
